Kensington is like a romantic novel
in an old pub
on a late summer afternoon.
When all of the beautiful people
and all of the toffs
are back from their holidays
in their red velvet coats.
A place for the fragile, the fleeting, and the misunderstood....
Love the red coat! would not wear it myself, but love it anyway!
ReplyDeleteI visited your friend's mooncake recipes... that is the real stuff. Mine were just bluff but rather good some thought.
Enjoy the day!
PD: Love the name of the place as in "angle-terre" yet the sea cannot be or make an "angle" since it is water...
kenza - no criticism of your mooncake intended! i am imagining yours were quite delicious. can't say we were ever huge fans of the original in my family so raspberry flavor can only be a step in the right direction!
ReplyDeletelove your thinking about the "anglesea". the "angle" might be the clue - the english sea? but the angley water ...... (or not) love the image.
and yeah - that kind of bright velvet is irresistible on someone else!
Love this post ;)
