WOW! WOW! WOW! Absolutely incredible :-)
ReplyDeleteWhere are the pterodactyl nests? This place is beyond imagination. There was a fantastic article on the Huntington Gardens in the NYTimes ages ago and I wanted to visit so badly. And then promptly forgot about it. Thank you for sharing these insane pics.
ReplyDeleteAnd *thank you*, my dear, for the lovely, lovely comment! And yes, POST POST POST what hubby is advising you to share. Can't WAIT.
xoxo
unbelievable! thanks for this. have a lovely week end!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, these photos are outstanding.
ReplyDeleteJust the other day I said to my husband (who is the gardener in the family and CRAZY for succulents) that I would like to go back and see the succulent garden at the Huntington Library again. We were there last March. Such an impressive collection and display of succulents there. (And the scones at the Sunday tea are good too.)
ReplyDeleteOh you lovely peeps! Let's all say hi to Thomas who I'm imagining somewhere surrounded by 30 inches of snow and then, very sensibly by another great wall of good books to get him through the very conveniently arrived weekend. And here in L.A. it felt like it could have been 30 inches of rain. Yes the Huntington succulent garden is truly a highlight/treasure. The roses are nice, the bamboo and bonzai are insane but the succulents - well YOU KNOW!!!!!!! (Even if you didn't before.) Lily - we ARE v. much alike. I would do exactly the same thing. Anyway, I'm planning a week next week of art posts. Thanks for coming by this week and stay tuned!
