Lovely lustres - it would be good to have a system of changing light fixtures regularly with crates backstage for storing 3 or 4 at least for the living room. Wouldn't that be festive? Because a celebration needs special things and novelty - and a good dusting!
I had to follow up your furry animal post from December 14, 2009 - wow, Dolly is just the opposite of my cat. Mine is a champion sleeper (in the house) and makes a pretty good pillow too. He's a real tiger outside though, as long as his prey is non-feline. He shrinks back from the neighbor's cats because he's a cool dude who just doesn't clutter up his life with difficult social relations. I'd never heard of Prozac for cats, but I'm glad you found a solution. She's a real beauty!
I like the idea of something like this in the midst of a very low key interior... the sheer look=at-me-ness of it!
I'd love one for the 80th birthday event i am doing for mother in late July...she actually said the other day she'd rather like an over-the-top light at her party...well...thanks for finding it MP!
i post what i like (it's true) it's good when you all like them too!
and p.s., you all cheered me up so much today. lost the internet connection overnite. good thing i cried on the phone, (i'd lost my landline yesterday!) they sent someone right away to give me a new modem and i found all of you as soon as i logged on! that totally worked!
p.s. S&M - it's ok to call you that???? glad you liked that furry animal post. they are such good company even when they drive you crazy like they have me for a year. i would do anything for them. and the little doll is a little doll when she isn't being a princess! can't believe yours let's you use him for a pillow. mine would be highly offended!
