I am a big fan of glass art. It was fun to see the foil pans from a different side. Put together they make a wonderful art form. xo
ReplyDeleteI collect vases so I am absolutely in love with these organic forms!
ReplyDeletesee, i like this kind of organic fantasy, is what i like to call it too...
ReplyDeleteuseful, and also quirky.
great view!
Amazing first shot! just amazing! love the flags floating...
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for your kind comment. Happy you liked the photo.
That first shot is fantastic! Delightful forms.
ReplyDeletehi all! i'm trying to answer my comments on my "lunch break" these days.
ReplyDeletewe'll see how i do! thanks! i'm glad you all liked that first pic, have to say, yes, i thought this was a tough one till tania mentioned her vase collection - i have shall we say, an informal one too! with v. organic forms.
anyway, have to say, love corner views for this cause i really was not sure what i was ever going to do with that first pic. it is a little strange and that strong central axis bothered me but i did love the colors and the light and movement that the flags fluttering give. and did anyone notice those little flower forms on the bottom? anyway now, thanks! i appreciate this pic so much more! my picture thanks you too for that!
hope everyone is having a good week!
Love the perspective of that first shot. :-) It's like a little kid looking up in awe. :-)
ReplyDeletehave to admit that the initial reason for the picture was an undercover way to get a look at the price tags!!!!!!! in any case, i did not bring any home with me....a small matter of earthquakes and cats in so. cal.
ReplyDeletegorgeous vases ... love the yellow color. and you know, I have some of those small flowers :)
ReplyDeleteNorth and South... me up here, and you down there... Same same and wonderfully different. xo
ReplyDeleteThe yellow photo on top feels like an instant collage of color and form, each layered one atop the next. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAre you a working artist? I keep thinking you are, based on your blog.
ReplyDeleteok last one for the day! but i so need these comment breaks cause i'm cleaning the house!
ReplyDeletejanis: really! more about that soon!
tzivia: thanks so much! yes, i'm a collag-ey kind of person
theresa: i have been, but mostly these days...i'm working for the weekend? that sounds good, doesn't it? no seriously, i have posted about this a little once (see "art" labels) but since moving so much in five years i'm mostly producing photos to post online! thx for asking tho!
loving that first shot, esp. the prayer flags blowing in the background. have fun on your blog break!
