I love that time of day too, Paradis. It always soothes my soul and the troubles of the day don't seem half so bad.
ReplyDeleteimage 2 - is that from your place, outta your window?
ReplyDeleteit's a wow! wonderful angle and all.
Such a pity we don't have those colourful sunsets very often in my area!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Evening (and early morning... although I don't see it very often!) light is always uplifting...
ReplyDeletei love the second photo ... out the window ! it is wonderful !!
ReplyDeleteMy CORNER VIEW is up now too !
Si c'est ce que tu vois en ce moment, alors oui, tu as de la chance. La deuxième image est particulièrement belle... Je me vois rester tranquillement derrière cette fenêtre.
ReplyDeleteThere is something very melancholy about the evening sky over the bread factory... I wonder about the people who punched their time cards, walked out the factory doors, and saw that magnificent sky...
ReplyDeleteI like your photo choice of "evening skies" ...
I like the top photo- looks like the sky has a lot of bubbles and hipcups! xo
ReplyDeleteAnd so you should - it is a blessing to have beautiful skies.
ReplyDeleteha-ha to joyce! i agree with you! i wasn't sure about that pic, it made me think a little about cottage cheese and cellulite.
ReplyDeleteotherwise, yes, janis, it is a little melancholic. i think that's what makes twilight bittersweet for many, it means the day is at an end, but yes, it means another day is at an end and have we seen the sun that day? some of us maybe not. and what have we accomplished? and does it mean that we can rest from our labor and our cares? and will we sleep a peaceful sleep? some maybe not. i definitely have those days!
otherwise to all. it really is a blessing. i've lived most of my life so far not being able to see any sunset at night much less one's like these. now that i have one nearly every day.....i am literally, in the second pic, brought to my knees!
many errands today, but i'll be by to check out your CV's by the next sunset!
love that first sky.
ReplyDeleteyes, the blue hour is fab (only haven't seen it for days. bloody greyness... ;)
nice shots, like the first one very much
ReplyDeleteA perfect backdrop for counting blessings!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous skies:)
